Philadelphia Eagles Running Back Darren Sproles Stars in Commercial Spot for Tide Pods

Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles has made a career out of proving people wrong who underestimated him because of his size.  Sproles has been one of the NFL's most exciting players over the years and has become a fan favorite.

That popularity led into Sproles' recent "Small But Powerful" ad campaign for Tide Pods.  People speculate about the 5'6" speedster being able to get the job done similarly to how they wonder if the small Tide Pods pack enough cleaning punch.

The commercial continues to make comparisons between Sproles and the cleaning product.  The also underrated Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley also has a "Small But Powerful" spot.

Sproles has spent the last two years with the Eagles serving as a punt returner and vesatile offensive playmaker in Chip Kelly's offense. He made his first Pro Bowl and was a second team All-Pro for his performance as a returner in 2014.

He found his greatest NFL success however in the three years he spent with the New Orleans Saints  In 2011, Sproles set a single-season  league record for all-purpose yardage along with career highs in rushing and receiving yards.

From 2008-2011, Sproles topped over 2,200 all-purpose yards in each season.  After becoming the all-time leading rusher in Kansas State history, he was drafted in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers and set the all-time kickoff return record for that franchise.
