PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan Keynotes JAXUSA Partnership’s Third-Quarter Meeting

The PGA Tour is one of the top corporations located in the Jacksonville, Florida area. It makes sense that the JAXUSA Partnership is hosting PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan as the keynote speaker for their third-quarter meeting.

The event takes place on September 6th at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. Check-in starts at 11:30 a.m., lunch is at noon and the meeting concludes at 1:30 p.m.

JAXUSA is the JAX Chamber's economic development division. The tickets are $50 for JAXUSA investors, $65 for chamber members and $75 for non-members.

Monahan has been the commissioner of the PGA Tour since January. He originally joined the tour in 2008 as the executive director of The Players Championship.

Before becoming commissioner, Monahan was the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer. He worked previously at IMG Worldwide, where he was instrumental in establishing the Deutsche Bank Championship.

At 32, Monahan also served as the tournament's first director. He is the co-creator of the charity, Golf Fights Cancer, an organization that has raised over $5 million since 2003.
