Orlando Magic Executive Pat Williams Speaks at Lakeland Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting

There have not been many people more influential in the history of the Orlando Magic than Pat Williams. The team executive will share some tips for business success on Thursday as the keynote speaker for the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting in Florida. 

The meeting runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at The Lakeland Center's Jenkins Arena. Tickets are $65 per person or $700 for a table of ten. 

In addition to hearing from Williams, there will be two awards handed out. The George Jenkins Award recognizes someone who has exhibited leadership and service while the P. Scott Linder Small Business of the Year Award is given to one of 12 Small Business of the Month winners. 

Williams currently serves as a senior vice president for the Magic. He was one of the instrumental leaders behind bringing the franchise to Orlando in the 1980s. 

For the first seven years of the team's existence, Williams served as general manager. He built a team that reached the NBA Finals in 1995. 

Before arriving in Orlando, Williams was the general manager of the Philadelphia 76ers. In addition to his role with the Magic now, he is a top motivational speaker and has written nearly 50 books.
