The NuSol Natural Hair Expo takes place on March 4th in Raleigh, North Carolina. The highlight of the day is an appearance by Olympic champion Gabby Douglas. 

Douglas is the keynote speaker for the event at the Raleigh Convention Center. There will be other seminars, live performances and vendors that mark that mark the rest of the day. 

The title of the expo is "50 Shade of Nappilicious Hair." General admission tickets are $25 and VIP seating is $45. 

At the 2012 Olympics, Douglas won gold in the in the team and all-around competitions. She was able to return to the Olympic stage in 2016 and be part of another gold medal-winning U.S. team. 

Douglas also has two team gold medal victories from the 2011 and 2015 World Championships. In 2015, she also took home a silver in the all-around. 

Douglas made history as the first African-American to be an individual all-around champion. She was named the Female Athlete of the Year by the Associated Press in 2012.
