NFL Star Brandon Marshall to Talk Mental Health at Hospital Luncheon

NFL star Brandon Marshall is one of the most open and honest athletes when it comes to discussing the challenges he faces with mental health. He will open up that conversation again at a luncheon for The Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas.

Marshall is the keynote speaker for the event, which takes place on May 2 at the Hilton Houston Post Oak by the Galleria. He will discuss what it is like to live with borderline personality disorder.

The Menninger Clinic hosts this Signature Luncheon annually to raise proceeds for their services and provide mental health awareness. Marshall has continually worked to erase stigmas as well through his Project 375 organization.

Marshall has been able to shine a light on mental health due to his status as one of the greatest wide receivers of his era. He is a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro.

Marshall holds the distinction of being just one of eight players to have recorded three straight 100-catch seasons. He also holds the league's single-game reception record.

Marshall has eight 1,000-yard receiving seasons in his career and led the NFL in touchdown catches in 2015. He currently has 970 career receptions for 12,351 receiving yards and 83 touchdowns.
