New York Yankees Legend Bernie Williams Makes Appearance Next Month at Pattern for Progress Reception

Former New York Yankees center fielder Bernie Williams is still a personality in high demand.  He will be the featured guest on November 9th at the Pattern for Progress Annual Fall Reception.

Pattern for Progress is a non-profit that works towards finding ways to grow the Hudson Valley Region of New York.  The event is being held at Anthony's Pier 9 in New Windsor and will celebrate the organization's 51st year.

Williams is an accomplished musician and he will perform at the reception in addition to talking about his baseball career.  Individual tickets cost $165 for Pattern members and $190 for non-members.

Williams played his entire 16-year career for the Yankees.  He was a five-time All-Star and four-time Gold Glove winner who racked up 2,336 hits.

Most importantly, Williams was a tremendous playoff performer and member of four World Series-winning teams.  He won Most Valuable Player honors at the 1996 American League Championship Series and holds the franchise record for postseason RBIs.

Last year, the Yankees retired Williams' #51 jersey and honored him with a plaque in Monument Park.  As a musician, he has released two studio albums and continues to play around the country.
