New Orleans Saints Wide Receiver Brandin Cooks Holds Sold Out Camp in Hometown Next Week

Fresh off a breakout season with the New Orleans Saints, wide receiver Brandin Cooks is headed back to his hometown of Stockton, California to host a youth football camp.  The Brandin Cooks Football ProCamp is next Saturday at Lincoln High School.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and boys and girls from first through eighth grade will attend.  Registration is already full and waitlist sign-ups are currently being excepted.

Participants will receive expert coaching instruction from Cooks and other coaches.  They also get a camp t-shirt, team photo and autograph from the wide receiver.

In his second year, Cooks became a top offensive option for Drew Brees and the Saints.  He caught a team-leading 84 passes for 1,138 yards and nine touchdowns.

As a rookie, Cooks also had 53 catches for 550 yards before ending his season with a thumb injury in Week 11.  New Orleans selected him in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Oregon State.

In his final season with the Beavers, Cooks led the NCAA and set a Pac-12 record with 1,730 receiving yards.  He also won the Biletnikoff Award given out to the nation's top wide receiver.
