The love for the New England Patriots extends well beyond the metro Boston area.  Wide receiver Danny Amendola will get a taste of the regional support his franchise receives when he makes an appearance in Bangor, Maine next month. 

Amendola is the featured guest at Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket's Championship Kickoff Drive Party.  The event is being held June 29th at Husson University. 

Beginning at 7 p.m. in Gracie Theatre, Amendola will discuss his career and the outlook for the Patriots 2016 season.  General admission tickets are $35 while VIP tickets that include an opportunity to meet the New England star are $100. 

Amendola is a seven-year NFL veteran and has spent the last three seasons with the Patriots.  His shining moment for the franchise may have come in Super Bowl XLIX, where he had five catches for 48 yards and a touchdown in the 28-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

In 2015, Amendola had his best season with New England, catching 65 passes for 648 yards and three touchdowns.  Prior to joining the team, he spent the first four years of his career with the St. Louis Rams. 

While with the Rams in 2010, Amendola led the NFL with 2,364 all-purpose yards.  He has built a successful career in pro football despite being undrafted in 2008 out of Texas Tech.
