New Detroit Lions Wide Receiver Marvin Jones Holds Area ProCamp Next Week

Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones might be a newcomer to the franchise, but he is already making an impact in the community.  He is hosting a youth camp next week in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

The Marvin Jones Football ProCamp presented by SunnyD takes place July 22-23 at Rochester Adams High School.  The camp is open to boys and girls in grades 1-8.

Each day, the session runs from 4:30-7:30 p.m.  In addition to expert instruction, campers receive an autograph from Jones, a team photo and a t-shirt.

After missing the entire 2014 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, Jones put in a productive 2015.  She caught a career-high 65 passes for 816 yards and four touchdowns.

During his second season, Jones caught ten touchdown passes.  In that 2013 postseason, he set a Bengals playoff record with eight catches for 130 yards in the team's loss to the San Diego Chargers.

Cincinnati originally selected Jones in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.  The Los Angeles native played college football at the University of California.
