New Chicago Bulls Guard Denzel Valentine Hosts Michigan Youth Camp Later This Month

Denzel Valentine left an undeniable legacy during his Michigan State career.  Next week, he is heading back to the area to host a youth camp.

The Denzel Valentine Basketball ProCamp presented by SunnyD runs July 25-26 at Aim High Sports in Dimondale.  It is open to kids in grades 1-12 and only 20 spots remain.

Each day runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.   For $149, campers receive a Valentine autograph, a team photo and t-shirt.

Valentine is one of the newest members of the Chicago Bulls after being selected with the 14th overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft.  He will try to take his versatile game to the Windy City after a banner tenure in college.

Last year, Valentine took his game to a new level for the Spartans and won the AP Player of the Year award.  He was also a consensus first-team All-American and Big Ten Player of the Year after averaging 19.2 points, 7.8 assists and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Valentine played all four seasons at MSU.  He was also an All-Big Ten third team selection as a junior.
