Michigan Football Coach Jim Harbaugh Delivers Paramus Catholic Commencement Speech Next Month

Paramus Catholic has built a tremendous relationship with Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh.  They will take that relationship to the next level next month, with the outspoken coach delivering the school's commencement address.

Harbaugh will speak at the June 9th ceremony at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.  The ceremony is open to the public and no tickets are required.

Paramus has 415 candidates for graduation at the commencement.  One of those is Rashan Gary, a prep football star who has committed to Harbaugh's Wolverines.

In his first year as the head coach of his alma mater, Harbaugh shook the college football world with his success.  Michigan went 10-3, beat Florida in the Citrus Bowl and finished ranked as high as 11th in the polls.

Prior to arriving back in Ann Arbor, Harbaugh coached the San Francisco 49ers for four seasons.  The 49ers advanced to at least the NFC Championship Game in three of those years.

Harbaugh had a great base of college coaching experience with previous stints as a head coach at the University of San Diego and Stanford University.  In his final season with the Cardinal, the program went 12-1 and finished fourth in the country.
