Los Angeles Rams General Manager Les Snead Keynotes Banquet at his Former High School

Recently, Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead returned to his Eufaula, Alabama roots. He was in town to keynote Eufaula High Schoo's Red and White Night banquet.

The event was held at Lakepoint Resort State Park. It was Snead's first visit to the park since his 10-year high school reunion.

Former Auburn coach Pat Dye was also in attendance to donate a 20-foot tall oak tree that comes from the famous Toomer's Corner Oaks. Snead purchased the tree and also made further contribution pledges to the Eufaula Athletic Boosters while on his visit.

Snead became the Rams GM in 2012 and a blockbuster trade that year involving the second overall pick in the NFL draft has allowed him to quickly remake the roster. He has found defensive standouts like Alec Ogletree and Aaron Donald while drafting potential offensive cornerstones in Todd Gurley and Jared Goff.

Prior to joining the Rams organization, Snead spent 13 years with the Atlanta Falcons. He rose to the title of director of pro personnel from 2009-11.

Snead broke into the NFL in the pro scouting department for the expansion Jacksonville Jaguars. He had a variety of administrative roles within the Auburn football program after finishing his college career as a tight end.
