Houston Texans Wide Receiver DeAndre Hopkins Holds Lonestar State Youth Camp in May

While the Houston Texans have seen staples of their offense like Andre Johnson and Arian Foster depart in back-to-back years, DeAndre Hopkins remains the constant.  Fresh off a career year, Hopkins is hosting a camp for Houston-area kids in May.

The Kroger Unplug & Play DeAndre Hopkins Football ProCamp will be held May 14-15 at Turner Stadium in Humble, Texas.  Each day, the camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Boys and girls in first through eighth grade are welcome to register for $199.  Campers will receive an autograph, team photo with Hopkins, and a camp t-shirt in addition to the expert instruction.

This past season, Hopkins caught 111 passes for 1,521 yards and a team record 11 touchdowns as the Texans won the AFC South title.  He was named to his first Pro Bowl and also picked up second-team All-Pro honors.

Hopkins broke free for his first 1,000-yard season in 2014.  Houston initially selected him 27th overall in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Hopkins set many records in his college career at Clemson.  He is the single-season and career receiving touchdown leader and has the most receiving yards in program history as well.
