Former Washington Redskins Punter Mike Bragg Speaks at Alexandria Sportsman’s Club

Former Washington Redskins punter Mike Bragg is probably one of the more notable athletes to call Alexandria, Virginia home.  He remains an active part of the local community and tonight he is speaking at the Alexandria Sportsman's Club.

Bragg's appearance is for their annual Redskins Night.  It takes place beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Old Dominion Boat Club.

In addition to speaking, Bragg will also present someone with the ASC Athlete of the Month award.  The event is free and open to the public to attend.

Bragg played 12 of 13 NFL seasons with the Redskins and is arguably the greatest punter in team history.  He holds Washington records for career and single-season punts atttempted.

During the 1976 season, Bragg hit a franchise-record 29 punts inside the 20-yard line.  He also lists the opportunity to win the 1972 NFC Championship against the Dallas Cowboys as the highlight of his career.
