LAUNCH is an organization that has continually served to uplift entrepreneurs in the Greater Chattanooga, Tennessee area. On Thursday, they hosted a fundraising dinner with one of the biggest sports names in the state. 

Former University of Tennessee football coach Phillip Fulmer served as the speaker. Fulmer talked about having an eye for talent and shared some of his leadership stories from his time on the field. 

LAUNCH celebrated their sixth anniversary at the event. Individual tickets were $100, tables of eight were $800 and VIP tables that included one-on-one time with Fulmer were $900.

For 17 seasons, Fulmer led the Volunteers program and amassed a 152-52 record. He had a winning record in bowl games and captured back-to-back Southeastern Conference championships in 1997 and 1998. 

In 1998, Fulmer and the Vols won the program's third national championship. He began his career as a student assistant at UT after playing on the offensive line four years. 

Fulmer was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2012. He remains a part of the Tennessee program today as a special advisor to the university's president.
