Former NFL Running Back Ricky Williams Holds Houston Autograph Signing

Many NFL stars past and present made their way through Houston this past week for the Super Bowl. On Friday, former top running back Ricky Williams held an autograph signing.

The event took place in Houston's Galleria Mall at the Super 51 Store. Williams was set up in Level 2 of the mall at Galleria One from 6-7:30 p.m. right next to the Disney Store.

Autograph tickets were available for $39. Earlier in the day, current Dallas Cowboys standout Ezekiel Elliott was also at the mall for a signing.

Williams spent 11 seasons in the NFL and is best known for his time with the Miami Dolphins. After winning the 1998 Heisman Trophy at the University of Texas, he was selected with the fifth overall pick of the 1999 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints.

After a solid three seasons with the Saints, Williams had a true breakout campaign in Miami in 2002. He led the league with 1,853 rushing yards, was named a first-team All-Pro and made his only Pro Bowl appearance.

Williams spent one final year in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens in 2011. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and has done broadcasting work for the Longhorn Network in retirement.
