Former NFL Coach Dick Vermeil Keynotes Global Organic Produce Expo in January

Former NFL coach Dick Vermeil has transitioned into a successful second career as a winemaker. He will talk about his business as the keynote speaker at the Global Organic Produce Expo. 

The event runs January 25-27 in Hollywood, Florida at the Diplomat Beach Resort. It offers networking opportunities for individuals who grow, distribute, pack and market organic produce.

Vermeil will give his keynote talk on January 26th. The event hosted by The Packer also includes exhibition space and their proprietary Fresh Trends program. 

Vermeil had a unique NFL coaching career that reached its pinnacle when his St. Louis Rams won Super Bowl XXXIV. After serving as the Rams head coach from 1997-99, he guided the Kansas City Chiefs from 2001-05. 

Vermeil got his first head coaching opportunity in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles in 1976. He led the Eagles to the playoffs four times and a trip to Super Bowl XV. 

In 1959, Vermeil got his start in coaching at Del Mar High School before taking a variety of positions on the pro and collegiate levels. He is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame and the St. Louis Football Ring of Honor.
