Former LSU Head Coach Les Miles Speaks at Landmark Church Gridiron Kickoff Monday

Former LSU head coach Les Miles has had tremendous speaking opportunities this offseason. He will help the attendees at Landmark Church's Gridiron Kickoff usher in a new college football season tonight.

He is speaking at the 12th annual event that is being held at Landmark's LIFEcenter. It is a men's only activity and tickets are $15.

The price of admission includes a tailgate dinner and Southeastern Conference helmet schedule. In addition to Miles, former Auburn running back Ronnie Brown and former Alabama running back Bobby Humphrey will be interviewed.

From 2005 to last year, Miles racked up an 114-34 record with the Tigers. He won the BCS National Championship in 2007 and two SEC titles.

When Miles led LSU to their second BCS title game appearance in 2011, he won several national coach of the year awards. Prior to becoming the head coach, he led the Oklahoma State program for four seasons.

Miles began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Michigan, in 1980. He also had assistant coaching stints at Colorado, Oklahoma State and with the Dallas Cowboys.
