Clemson Coach Dabo Swinney Keynotes Sold Out University of Mobile Scholarship Banquet

Last night, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney helped the University of Mobile with their fundraising efforts. He was the keynote speaker at the school's Scholarship Banquet.

The sold-out event took place at 6:30 p.m. at the Outlaw Convention Center. As an Alabama native, Swinney made sense to serve as the speaker this year.

The banquet usually attracts a top presenter from the political arena or journalism. Former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow is one name from the world of sports who has previously addressed the group.

With 101 coaching victories, Swinney ranks second in Clemson history. He has been the program's head coach since 2009 and led the team to four ACC championships.

Swinney's squads have made it to the College Football Playoff for the last three seasons and they won a national championship in 2017. Clemson has finished ranked in the top 15 the last six years running.

Swinney has been on the Clemson coaching staff since 2003. He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Alabama in 1993.
