Cincinnati Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis Hosts Sold Out Youth Camp Next Month

There is no question that Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis has gained a great deal of respect in Cincinnati for turning the franchise into a consistent winner.  That reverence can be shown in the response he has had for his youth camp.

The Marvin Lewis Football ProCamp, slated for June 6-8, is sold out.  It will be held at Paul Brown Stadium and run each evening from 6-8:30 p.m.

Campers in grades 1-8 will come to have expert football instruction from Lewis and other coaches.  They will also receive an autograph, team photo and camp t-shirt.

Lewis has been the Bengals head coach since 2003 and had elevated a team that was once a perennial dormat.  Cincinnati has made five straight trips to the playoffs and won two AFC North titles in that process.

Overall, Lewis has led the Bengals to four division titles.  In 2009, he was named Associated Press Coach of the Year after going 10-6 and winning the AFC North.

Lewis arrived in Cincinnati after gaining notoreity as the defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens.  He piloted one of the top defenses in NFL history all the way to victory in SuperBowl XXXV in 2001.
