Chicago Bears Second-Year Wide Receiver Kevin White Holds First Youth Camp

Kevin White had a tough rookie season derailed by injury, but Chicago Bears fans remain excited about his potential to be a staple on offense for years to come.  Young Bears supporters will get the opportunity in May to learn from their promising wide receiver.

The Kevin White Football ProCamp takes place May 21-22 at Elk Grove High School in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.  Boys and girls in grades 1-8 can learn tips of the trade from White each day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Cost to attend the two-day camp is $149.  In addition to the football training, campers will also receive White's autograph, a team photo, and t-shirt.

The Bears made White the seventh overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft.  Unfortunately, he was sidelined for the season after suffering a stress fracture in his shin during offseason workouts.

White is now 100 percent healthy and poised to show off some of the skills he impressed with while in college at West Virginia.  As a senior, he was a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award after catching 109 passes for 1,447 yards and ten touchdowns.

White also was named a second-team AP All-American and first-team All-Big 12.  Following the season, he cemented his high draft position by running a blazing 4.35 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine.
