Buccaneers Quarterback Jameis Winston Speaks at Tampa Leadership Conference

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is continuing his mission of making an impact off the football field this offseason. On Thursday, he was speaking in Tampa at a youth leadership conference.

The event was part of a camp that was organized by Unsigned Preps founder Ricky Sailor. Winston's presentation focused on his three life priorities: God, school and the philosophy of "I can do anything I put my mind too."

WWE superstar and Tampa resident Titus O'Neil also participated in the camp. There were also high school coaches, financial advisors and members of the Tampa Police Department who spoke.

In each of his first two NFL seasons, Winston has thrown for over 4,000 yards and 20 touchdowns. Last year, he set franchise records with 4,090 passing yards and 28 passing touchdowns.

As a rookie, Winston was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year and a Pro Bowler. The Buccaneers originally made him the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

At Florida State, Winston won the BCS National Championship and Heisman Trophy as a redshirt freshman. He also guided the Seminoles to the first College Football Playoff in 2014.
