Brooklyn Nets Point Guard Jeremy Lin Makes Appearance in Totally Awesome Hulk Comic Book

While new Brooklyn Nets point guard Jeremy Lin has been a frontline player on the basketball court, he now has a new starring role off of it.  He is being featured in Marvel Comics "Totally Awesome Hulk" series.

Lin will make his first appearance in the comic book world this December.  After the spell of "Linsanity" when he entered the league, comic writer Greg Pak got the idea to put him in the Hulk series.

In the series, the Hulk is portrayed as an Asian-American character.  The undeniable tie-in with Lin was something that expedited the process of getting him into the comic.

Lin burst onto the basketball radar in 2012, when he helped the Knicks reel off a seven-game winning streak in February.  He became the first player in NBA history to score at least 20 points and add seven assists in each of his first five starts.

In 12 pre-All-Star break games, Lin averaged 22.5 points and 8.7 assists on the way to be added to the roster for the Rising Stars Challenge.  During that offseason, he signed with the Houston Rockets and spent two seasons with them.

Lin has played the last two years with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Charlotte Hornets.  He has made it a far way in the league despite being undrafted following an All-Ivy League career at Harvard.
