Basketball legend Magic Johnson has an infectious personality that has impacted millions around the world. Last week, he was able to impact a large audience as the keynote speaker at the Global Gaming Expo. 

The event took place October 8-11 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have hosted it every year since 2001 and it stands as the top conference for those in the casino-entertainment industry. 

Johnson spoke on October 5th at 9 a.m. His 30-minute talk featured stories from his journey from standout basketball player to respected businessman. 

Johnson won a NCAA championship at Michigan State and was then selected with the top pick of the 1979 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. He spent 13 seasons with the Lakers and was a 12-time NBA All-Star. 

Johnson won five NBA titles with Los Angeles and was a three-time MVP of the NBA Finals. He was named to the All-NBA first-team and was a three-time NBA MVP. 

After retiring, Johnson became a success as an entrepreneur and purchased stakes in the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Sparks. He is the current president of basketball operations for the Lakers.
