Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal Becomes Brand Ambassador for Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme's newest brand ambassador is truly a larger than life figure.  Basketball Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal agreed to a partnership with the donut company.

The deal goes beyond just being a global representative for Krispy Kreme.  O'Neal also has bought a historic store location in Atlanta, Georgia that has been in operation for over 60 years.

Throughout his career, O'Neal has been a magnet on the endorsement scene.  He also has experience as a franchisee as part of a group that had the Los Angeles rights to the burger chain, Five Guys.

Over the course of O'Neal's 19 seasons in the NBA, he became one of the most dominent big men in league history.  He was a 15-time All-Star and 14-time All-Pro.

Currently, O'Neal ranks seventh in the NBA record books in career points, fifth in field goals, 13th in rebounds and seventh in blocks.  He was a great winner as well, capturing four NBA championships and being awarded the NBA Finals MVP trophy three straight times.

O'Neal's #34 jersey is retired by the Los Angeles Lakers and he is a member of the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame.  He currently serves as a studio analyst for TNT's award-winning "Inside the NBA" studio show.
