Basketball Hall of Famer David Robinson Speaks on Panel January 19th at Emerging Manager Conference

While he is known for his exploits on the basketball court, David Robinson has transitioned into a successful post-playing career. He will discuss what he has been up as part of a panel at the Emerging Manager Conference January 19th. 

The conference takes place in Austin, Texas at the Austin Convention Center. Approximately 1,000 people will attend the event that serves as one of the top gatherings for Emerging Managers to learn new tips about how to navigate Wall Street. 

From 12:30-2 p.m., Robinson will take part in the lunch keynote panel titled, "Changing Jerseys: Reflections of a Dream Team on Moving from the Athletic to the Business Arena." He will be joined by former NBA All-Star Grant Hill and recently retired baseball slugger Alex Rodriguez

Robinson spent his entire career with the San Antonio Spurs and was a ten-time All-Star. He is one of the greatest centers in the history of the game. 

In 1995, Robinson won the NBA Most Valuable Player award. He was a four-time All-NBA first team selection and also a four-time All-Defensive first team pick. 

Robinson won two NBA titles with the Spurs. He is a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame and the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame.
