Baltimore Ravens Wide Receiver Kamar Aiken Holds Youth Camp Back Home in South Florida

Fresh of a breakout NFL season, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Kamar Aiken got the opportunity to hold a youth camp at home in Hollywood, Florida.  This past Saturday, he was at his high school alma mater, Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School for the event.

The camp ran from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cost just $10 to attend.  Kids from the ages of eight to 17 came out to get expert instruction from Aiken and other expert guests.

In addition to learning football skills, campers also received lunch and a t-shirt.  The camp was sponsored by The Kamar Aiken Foundation.

AIken is a great NFL success story and has been with the Ravens since 2013.  In 2015, he led Baltimore with 75 catches for 944 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

What is remarkable about Aiken's recent ascension is that he was undrafted in 2011 out of the University of Central Florida.  Additionally to the Ravens, he has spent time with the Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears and New England Patriots.

Aiken made an immediate impact at UCF and saw action in all four years of his collegiate career.  As a freshman, he set then-school records for first-year players with 33 receptions for 584 yards and five touchdowns.
