Auburn Basketball Coach Bruce Pearl Speaks to Montgomery Quarterback Club Next Month

The Montgomery Quarterback Club has announced their list of speakers for this year.  11 meetings will be held throughout the fall at the Montgomery Country Club.

One of the top sports personalities in the state will be present on September 20th.  Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl will speak to the club.

Memberships and corporate sponsorships are still available for 2016.  The first meeting is on September 13th with ESPN college football analyst Tony Barnhart.

Pearl has been with the Tigers for two seasons and is working to resurrect the program.  In his last stop at Tennessee, he built the Vols into a consistent winner.

UT made the NCAA Tournament in each of Pearl's six seasons and advanced at least to the Sweet Sixteen three times.  He was a two-time Southeastern Coach of the Year and the first coach to ever lead Tennessee to a number one ranking.

Prior to arriving in Knoxville, Pearl took Milwaukee to two NCAA Tournament in four years.  His head coaching career began at Southern Indiana, where he won a Division-II National Championship in 1995.
