About Vinny Testaverde
As the quarterback for some of the most dominant college football programs of all-time, Vinny Testaverde led the Miami Hurricanes in 1985 & 1986 while posting record breaking numbers. His 1986 season is one of the best for a college quarterback, throwing for over 2,500 yards with 26 TDs while winning all major college football awards (Heisman, Maxwell, Davey Oérien, Walter Camp). Following his college career, Testaverde entered the NFL to begin a 21 season career which ended with him being in the top 10 for most major career statistics for a quarterback. He played for 7 different teams throughout his career, compiling over 46,000 yards with 275 TDs while being named a 2x Pro Bowler. Testaverde set several franchise records for multiple teams as well as NFL records for most consecutive seasons with a TD pass (21) and in 2007 became the oldest player to win an NFL game at the age of 44.
