About Trey Lyles
Trey Lyles is a power forward for the Sacramento Kings. Lyles was originally drafted by the Utah Jazz with the 12th overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He spent the first two seasons of his career with the Jazz before being traded to the Denver Nuggets. While in college, Lyles was a key contributor as a freshman to the 2014-15 historic Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. Lyles started 21 games for a squad that raced through the regular season and SEC Tournament undefeated. He averaged 8.7 points per game. Lyles was born in Canada but played high school basketball at Arsenal Tech in Indianapolis, Indiana. He won almost every major award as a senior, including being named Indiana’s Mr. Basketball and the Gatorade Player of the Year in the state. Lyles was a Parade and McDonald’s All-American. In his final year, he averaged 23.7 points and led Arsenal Tech to the 4A state title in Indiana.
