About Trey Hendrickson
The Cincinnati Bengals employ Trey Hendrickson as their dominant defensive end who leads the team through his powerful pass-rushing skills and field leadership. Trey Hendrickson entered the world on December 5, 1994, in Orlando, Florida before playing college football at Florida Atlantic University where he received Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year recognition in 2016. The New Orleans Saints drafted Hendrickson during their third round selection in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Hendrickson joined the Bengals in 2021 after four seasons with the Saints to establish himself as a vital defensive player for the team. His 17.5 sacks during the 2024 season made him the NFL leader and earned him the Deacon Jones Award together with his first First-Team All-Pro selection. The NFL recognized his outstanding performance by selecting him for four consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2021 through 2024. During Week 18 of the 2024 season Hendrickson received AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors after his 3.5 sack performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers proved crucial for the win.
Hendrickson demonstrates his dedication to his faith and work ethic outside of football activities. During his time at Florida Atlantic University Hendrickson studied criminal justice while maintaining his Christian faith. His father Collie Hendrickson played football at Missouri Southern State University.
