Trevor Siemian

Trevor Siemian is the backup quarterback for the New York Jets. He first made waves in the league after being a seventh-round pick of the Denver Broncos in 2015. As a rookie, he was the backup on a team that won Super Bowl 50. Then, Siemian became the unlikely starter in 2016 and threw for 3,410 yards and 18 touchdowns against 10 interceptions. Siemian came out hot in 2017 as well. During Week 2, he went 22/32 for 231 yards and four touchdowns as the Broncos blew out the Dallas Cowboys. Siemian was named the NFL Clutch Performer of the Week and the FedEx Air Player of the Week. He has gone on to be a backup for the Minnesota Vikings and New York Jets. Siemian came to the pros out of Northwestern University. Despite never becoming a regular starter for the Wildcats, Siemian left his mark. He finished fourth in school history in passing yards, fourth in completions, sixth in total offense and seventh in passing touchdowns. Before coming to Evanston, Siemian played for Olympia High School in Orlando, Florida. He set Orange County career records with 6,144 passing yards and 53 touchdowns.
