About Tori Bowie
Tori Bowie won a gold medal as a member of the American 4x100 meter relay team at the 2016 Olympics. Bowie served as the anchor runner for the winning U.S. team. Team USA posted the second fastest time in history, next to the 2012 squad that also won gold. Bowie had an impressive medal haul overall in Rio, also winning silver in the 100m and bronze in the 200m. Bowie has ascended to become one of the best sprinters in the world despite focusing more on long jump competitions just three years before the 2016 Games. In the Olympic lead-up, she captured a bronze medal in the 100m at the 2015 World Championships. At the University of Southern Mississippi, Bowie won one NCAA indoor and one outdoor long jump title.
