About Tom Lewand
Tom Lewand is about results, whether it be in his personal life or as an executive in the NFL. During his younger days he attended the University of Michigan and worked hard in the classroom to earn his B.A. in 1991 and both a law degree and Masters of Business Administration in 1996. Since that time he has worked his way up the ladder and earned the title of Lions Executive Vice President. As the teams vice president he served in a dual role that included duties as the team’s general manager. Shortly after arriving in Detroit he was quickly made team president where he oversees all aspects of the Lions organization. Lewand is a businessman that knows his football. Through business deals and contract negotiations he has recreated the Lions franchise into a contender and thrives in his role as the leader of one of America’s most storied organizations.
