About Tom Cable
Tom Cable worked his way up to the NFL ranks as a coach after 17 seasons at the college level as both an assistant and head coach. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Idaho, in 1987 and then made his way to San Diego State as a GA in 1989. Once he finished his graduate degree he coached at Cal State Fullerton, UNLV, California, and Colorado from 1990 to 1999 before landing the head-coaching job at Idaho in 2000. After three season at Idaho he coached took a job as the offensive coordinator at UCLA and then got his shot at the NFL in 2005 with the Atlanta Falcons as an offensive line coach. In 2008 the Raiders hired Cable as their head coach, in which he slowly built then back to relevance from 2008 to 2010. In 2011 he was hired as an assistant head coach and offensive line coach with the Seattle Seahawks, and helped lead the Seahawks to a Super Bowl title in 2014.
