About Thomas Rawls
Thomas Rawls is a running back for the Seattle Seahawks. Upon Marshawn Lynch's retirement, Rawls was tasked with leading the Seahawks backfield. He rapidly rose to the top of the depth chart despite being an undrafted free agent signee of Seattle in 2015. Rawls became the starter during his rookie season when Lynch got hurt. On November 22nd, he broke the franchise rookie record when he ran for 209 yards in a single game. It was also the first 200-plus yard rushing performance for the Seahawks since Shaun Alexander in 2006. In total, Rawls carried the ball 147 times for 830 yards and four touchdowns in his first season. He was named to the Pro Football Writers Association All-Rookie Team. Prior to arriving in the NFL, Rawls played college football at Michigan and Central Michigan. He transferred to CMU for his final season. That year, he ran for 1,103 yards and ten touchdowns in just seven games.
