About Steve Gregory
Steve Gregory, commonly known as number 28, is a free safety for the NFL. Playing college football at Syracuse after growing up in Staten Island, New York, he signed with the San Diego Chargers in 2006 and played with them for five consecutive years. Gregory has since played for the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs. Throughout his time with the Chargers, Gregory started 31 of 85 games, earned a total of 241 tackles, four interceptions and two sacks. While with the New England Patriots, Gregory did great things, including being a main contribution to the win against his own home-town team and Patriots rival team New York Jets on Thanksgiving night of 2012. After signing with the Kansas City Chiefs in July of 2014, Gregory proceeded to announce his retirement with the NFL in August of the same year.
