About Stacey Dales
Stacey Dales is the current host on NFL Network and she is a former basketball player. Dales attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a first-team AllAmerican in 2001 and 2002. In those two years, Dales was also named the Big 12 Conference Player of the Year. In 2002, she was the all-sports Academic AllAmerican of the year. As a senior, Dales helped lead the Sooners to the NCAA Championship game, but ultimately lost to Connecticut. The Washington Mystics selected Dales as the third overall pick in the 2002 WNBA Draft. As a rookie, she was named to the WNBA All-Star team as a replacement. During her time with Washington, she was diagnosed with Raynaud’s phenomenon in her hands. She announced her retirement for the first time in 2004. Dales was retired for one year before she signed with the Chicago Sky. She announced her second retirement on April 5, 2008. As an analyst, Dales has covered men and women’s basketball and she was a sideline reporter for college football games on ESPN.
