About Spike McRoy
Spike McRoy is a professional golfer. McRoy attended the University of Alabama where he played on the Alabama Crimson Tide golf team. Upon graduating from Alabama, McRoy turned professional. McRoy has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour where he split his time equally between the two tours. McRoy has just over a half-dozen top-10 finishes on each tour. In 2000, McRoy was the top money winner on the Buy.com Tour when he won $300,638 in earnings. He was also named Buy.com Tour Player of the Year in 2000. In 2002, McRoy recorded his first win at a PGA Tour event during the B.C. Open. McRoy’s last full PGA Tour season came in 2005. He continues to compete, but only occasionally on the PGA Tour and Web.com Tour. In his career, he has recorded a total of 7 professional wins. One of the wins came at the PGA Tour, two wins came on the Web.com Tour and four wins were from other Tours.
