About Scottie Montgomery
Scottie Montgomery is the head football coach at East Carolina University. He was originally hired following the 2015 season. Prior to taking his first head coaching job, Montgomery was the associate head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Duke University for two years. He also spent two tenures coaching wide receivers at his alma mater. In between Montgomery's stays in Durham, he was the wide receivers coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2010-2012. While a player for the Blue Devils, he was a two-time team MVP. Montgomery ranks highly on the Duke career receiving charts as well. Following his college days, he spent four seasons in the NFL.
