About Ryan McNeil
Ryan McNeil is a former professional football player who captivated fans and defeated opponents for eleven seasons in the National Football League. With a long list of rosters he was a part of, McNeil may be remembered for debuting with the Detroit Lions or playing for the St. Louis Rams, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers or Denver Broncos throughout his professional career. Prior to debuting professionally, he grew up in Florida and graduated from the University of Miami. McNeil attended Miami on an athletic scholarship and his senior year as a Hurricane, he was recognized as a consensus All-American. Not surprisingly, he was selected the following year in the NFL draft. He started in 136 of the 161 professional games he played in and retired from the NFL with nearly 700 tackles. McNeil also led the league in interceptions in 1997. Post-retirement, he gave back to the sport that gave him so much joy over the years by founding an organization guiding professional athletes to success in business, known as the Professional Business and Financial Network.
