About Rufus Johnson
Rufus Johnson is a part of the New England Patriots defensive line rotation at defensive end. The Patriots signed him in 2014. Johnson was originally selected in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. He spent his rookie season on the team's practice squad. Johnson played his college football at little-known Tarleton State. He was just the fourth player to ever be drafted into the NFL out of Tarleton. As a senior, Johnson was named a Division-II All-American by several outlets.
