Rick Honeycutt Biography

Rick Honeycutt is the pitching coach for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has been on the coaching staff since 2006. Honeycutt was a major league pitcher for six different franchises over 21 years. He spent significant time as both a starter and a reliever. Honeycutt originally came up with the Seattle Mariners in 1977. He made two All-Star appearances in 1980 and 1983. In 1983, Honeycutt led the American League in ERA. He spent seven years with the Oakland Athletics and won a World Series in 1989. Overall, he pitched in 30 playoff game and seven World Series contests. He boasts a career record of 3-0 in the Fall Classic.
