About Orlando Scandrick
Orlando Scandrick is a professional football cornerback for the Washington Redskins of the NFL. Scandrick played wide receiver and corner back while he was in high school. At the end of his senior year, Scandrick received first-team Long Beach Dream Team and first-team All-Sunset League honors. Scandrick attended Boise State University on an athletic scholarship where he shifted his focus to playing cornerback. During his freshman year with the Broncos, Scandrick was selected as a Freshman All-American in 2005. The Dallas Cowboys selected Scandrick in the 5th round as the 143rd overall draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Scandrick signed a contract extension with the Cowboys to play through 2016 in 2011. In 2013, Scandrick singed an additional two-year extension. On August 11, 2014 it was announced that Scandrick would miss the first four games of the 2014 season as he was suspended for using performance-enhancing drugs, specifically Molly.
