About Nick Toon
Nick Toon is a professional football wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL. Toon attended Middleton High School where he played as a wide receiver. In 2006, he was named a first-team All-State selection after he earned second-team honors as a junior in 2005. Toon was a two-time, first-team All-area at kick returner. He was also named to the inaugural All-American Offense-Defense Bowl where he caught 26 passes and six scores as a junior. As a senior, he served as the team captain. Toon also lettered in track & field during his high school career. Toon attended the University of Wisconsin from 2007-2011 where he played football for the Badger’s football team. He was redshirted as a freshman in 2007. In 2009, he received Honorable mention All-Big-Ten and in 2011 he made Second-Team All-BigTen by the coaches and Honorable mention by the media. The New Orleans Saints selected Toon in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He was then placed on injured reserve before the start of the 2012 season. He scored his first professional touchdown on November 30, 2014 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
