Neil Blumenfield

Neil Blumenfield lasted until the third and final day of the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event, ultimately finishing in third place and cashing out to the tune of nearly $4 million. Blumenfield played agressively in his bid to overtake eventual champion Joe McKeehen. At 61 years old, he was the second oldest playerto ever reach the final table, alongside his fellow 2015 November Nine competitor, 72 year old Pierre Neuville. His best WSOP Main Event finish prior to the event was a 285th place showing in 2012. Blumenfield does have an interesting background outside of poker. He was a tech executive and sold a company to Intuit in 2013. Most recently, Blumenfield was the President, COO, and Director of Elastic Intelligence, Inc. He resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
