About Mychal Kendricks
Mychal Kendricks is a professional football player in the National Football League for the Philadelphia Eagles as a linebacker. Born in Fresno, California he began playing football at an early age, and he continued to play and get better over time when he played in college at the University of California, Berkeley. In a total of 51 college games he became a leader on the team as he recorded 259 tackles, 13.5 sacks, had four interceptions, and scored a touchdown. Those numbers aided Kendricks in becoming the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in his senior season, and garnered the attention of NFL teams as the draft approached. Mychal was selected as the 46th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and made his league debut that same year. He has played his entire career to date with the Eagles and in that short span of time he has accumulated 264 tackles and 9 sacks.
