About Mike Williams
Mike Williams is a wide receiver for the New York Jets. Williams spent the first seven seasons of his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers, recording two 1,000-yard seasons. The Chargers originally selected him with the seventh overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Williams was a standout during his college career at Clemson University. He broke out during his sophomore campaign, catching 57 passes for 1,030 yards and six touchdowns. He was a third-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection.
After suffering a season-ending injury in 2015, Williams came back with a standout 2016 campaign. He had 98 receptions for 1,361 yards and 11 touchdowns while being named first-team All-ACC. Williams also helped lead the Tigers to the College Football Playoff National Championship. He caught eight passes for 98 yards and a touchdown in the title game.
