About Mike Golic
Mike Golic had an amazing 25-year run as one of the top TV and radio personalities at ESPN. Golic's tenure was best known for his time as one-half of the "Mike & Mike" show on ESPN Radio. He got his start in sports as an NFL player with the Houston Oilers, Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins from 1986 to 1993. Prior to playing in the NFL he served as the team captain for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team and also wrestled in South Bend. Upon earning his degree in finance and management he played eight seasons in the NFL as a defensive tackle. After his retirement from football, he was hired on at ESPN and has since become a popular brand ambassador for brands such as Dr. Pepper and Nutrisystem. In 2010 he co-authored a best-selling book, Mike and Mike’s Rules for Sports and Life, which was a hit in the sports world.
