About Mike Dee
Mike Dee has served as the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of the San Diego Padres since 2013. Dee was originally hired as the Padres director of corporate development in 1995, and was promoted to executive vice president of business affairs in 1999. During that time he assisted with the financial planning and construction of the Padres current stadium, Petco Park, and also worked to bolster the Padres’ business and military partnership within the San Diego community. In 2002 he signed on as the CEO of the Boston Red Sox, and under his leadership the franchise saw their success rise to new heights. During his time with the Red Sox the team won two World Series titles in 2004 and 2007 and he oversaw the eight-year remodeling of the legendary stadium, Fenway Park. In 2009 he sought a new venture in the NFL as the CEO of the Miami Dolphins, before returning to the Padres in 2013. In addition to his duties with the Padres he also serves on the F&M advisory board and the board of the Pan Mass Challenge.
